Bear Valley Wines and Spirits is a medium large store with a huge selection of both wines and spirits. It is my go-to store when I'm looking for specific brands of wines and spirits. Delivery is available and their hours of business are very good. They have convenient signs posted for quick finding the things you are looking for. They are conveniently located (for Southeast Lakewood and southwest Denver residents) in King Soopers/Home Depot shopping center on Sheridan and Bear Creek Drive at Hampden/285.
Caution use debit/cards only. "Cash" confuses the "Cashier". This only applies to the Owners mother who works on the weekends 9-3. I have seen others come in and complain about being short changed by her and she has Screeched and Yelled at them as well. I was a longtime customer(10+ years), but sadly i won't be returning. FYI she understands and speaks English quite well until someone challenges her cashier skills. then she 100% plays I Don't know what you are saying! This experience taught me to Always recount my cash myself after being handed it back Prior to turning and walking away. just be Aware and Recount your cash before walking out!

Note: Apple Maps have incorrect directions, it is in the shopping plaza at the light. Not the residential street Apple sends you to. This was not what I expected. Excellent bourbon/whiskey selection tucked in an unassuming shopping center. Good prices. Very friendly staff. This will be one of my regular haunts from now on.
Great family owned local liquor store. Very outgoing and friendly. If they don't carry what you're looking for just let them know and they will order it for you.
